The Mission RCMP serves a rapidly growing and diverse community with a population of approximately 40,000 district residents. Headed by Inspector Ted De Jager, Mission Detachment is a 48 municipal and 6 provincial officer detachment providing key services and programs in general duty policing, community response, street crime policing, forensic identification, general investigations, police dog service, traffic and administrative support. Mission Victim Services
Mission Victim Services provides: Crisis intervention response to the scene (24/7) as well as telephone and in-person follow up. We offer drop in and appointment access at the detachment and we accompany victims to court, parole hearings and other key appointments related to the file.more info
Mission Youth House (MY House)
A collaborative initiative to provide a place for homeless youth to eat, shower, do laundry, access services and receive help from caring professional adults.more info
Mood Disorders Association of British Columbia
The Mood Disorders Association of BC (MDABC) is a nonprofit organization that provides treatment, support, education, and hope of recovery for people living with a mood disorder. We serve to build awareness and understanding in communities throughout the province, reaching out to as many people as possible. more info
MS Society - Fraser Valley Chapter
The MS Society provides services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families and funds research to find the cause and cure for this disease.more info
Nar-Anon
The Nar-Anon Family Groups is primarily for those who know or have known a feeling of desperation concerning the addiction problem of someone very near to you. We have traveled that unhappy road too, and found the answer with serenity and peace of mind.more info
Narcotics Anonymous (NA)
We are a non-profit organization/fellowship of addicts helping addicts recover from drugs. We are a non-religious 12 step program focused on abstinence and spiritual principles. We have no initiation fees or dues and anyone can join our fellowship. We have a meetings most days of the week and they can be found on BCRNA.ca or NA.org.
