Mission RCMP Emergency Support Services

Mission Victim Services provides: Crisis intervention response to the scene (24/7) as well as telephone and in-person follow up. We offer drop in and appointment access at the detachment and we accompany victims to court, parole hearings and other key appointments. We assist with the following:

• providing emotional support
• providing information on the status of the police investigation and/or the court case
• referring to other agencies for further assistance
• assisting with safety planning
• explaining what happens in court and conducting orientation to the trial process
• assisting with CVA application
• assisting with Victim Impact Statements
