Mamele’awt Qweesome Housing Society (MQHS) is a non-profit Urban Aboriginal Housing Society that develops, manages and administers a wide range of subsidized housing options and support programs for those most in need within the Fraser Valley. MQHS has evolved from a grassroots organization meeting the on-the-ground needs of rural-to-urban Aboriginal peoples to a cutting-edge leader who has grown beyond bricks and mortar to embrace a holistic approach to meeting the needs of our community. With strong leadership, we continue to build towards self-sufficiency and independence while positioning ourselves as an innovative leader in social housing in BC.

Our Mission

Mamele’awt Qweesome Housing Society provides affordable housing and support services primarily for Aboriginal people in the Fraser Valley in a way that ensures tenant safety, empowers self-determination and the honouring of healthy agreements.
