Mission Youth House (MY House)

What we do at MY House

Meet basic needs
MY House will have free laundry, showers and meals for youth. Community meals with youth, staff and volunteers will be a highlight.

MY Work
Connect MY House youth with employers who are willing to provide at-risk youth with jobs. Staff and volunteers would help the youth stay employed and be a mediator between employer and youth

Creative Therapy
Our staff are skilled in helping youth connect with themselves and their surroundings through the arts. For many youth, this will be a highly rewarding and therapeutic activity.

Caring adult presence
Youth benefit greatly from having a person in their life that they can trust and that they perceive as a source of unconditional care and support.

Youth-specific medical care (on site)
There are two medical rooms setup with basic examination equipment. Doctors and nurses are on site on scheduled days to care for youth.

Connect youth to other professional help
Many other professionals from other fields will be associated with MY House. Youth will trust us to connect them with more help where needed.

Step Up
Engage youth in taking responsibility for their surroundings. Cleanup and beautification of the grounds around MY House. Receive incentives for working around MY House
