Mission Food Access Network
Mission Food Access Network (MFAN) is working towards a healthy, sustainable food future for Mission. The Network includes the District of Mission, Fraser Health, Mission Community Services, Hope Central, Mission City Farmers Market, LINC Society, Mission’s Kitchens, Mission Gleaners, Mission Soapbox Organic Community Garden, Mission Friendship Centre, St.Joseph’s Food Bank and community members.
Our goals are to:
- Decrease hunger
- Improve nutritional health
- Increase local food sustainability
To help reach our goals, we focus on specific food issues related to:
- Food Production & Processing
- Food Access & Distribution
- Food Consumption & Waste Management
