Mission Mental Health
Services offered to the community through Mission Mental Health include:
- Psychiatric Liaison Nurse in Mission Memorial Hospital emergency room. (8:30-4:30 7 days/week)
- Psychosis Treatment Optimization Program- provides additional supports for individuals living with psychosis who have not responded well to previous treatments.
- Case Management services for individuals experiencing an acute or serious and persistent mental illness.
- Aboriginal Outreach Nurse.
- Group Therapy Services.
- Community Older Adult Mental Health Services.
- Community Residential Program.
- Concurrent Disorders Program for individuals with mental health and substance use concerns.
- Outpatient Eating Disorders Program.
- Rapid Access Clinic for individuals requiring an expedited psychiatric assessment. GP referral required.
- Assertive Community Treatment services for individuals living with a severe and persistent mental illness, as well as substance use issues who have not responded to previous treatments offered in our community.
- Community Rehabilitation Services including Occupational Therapy services, Peer Support services, Clubhouse Program, Therapeutic Volunteer Program and Rehabilitation Fund.
- Early Psychosis Intervention Program serves youth and their families who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis, or are at risk of psychosis.
- Psychiatric assessment and medication management.
