Home Health provides health care and personal support services to clients in their homes, at clinics and at other community locations. The philosophy of care is to promote well-being, dignity and independence. Home Health meets a wide range of health care needs – for example nursing care after surgery, education on how to manage a chronic health condition, relief for a family member or friend serving as caregiver, care for those at the end of life. Providing information needed to make decisions about lifestyle and care, Home Health complements but does not replace the efforts of individuals to care for themselves with the help of family, friends and community. All new patients must register on Health Connect, the provincial government waitlist for family doctors in BC. Please see the link above.
If you are already registered on Fetch you will be contacted when a family physician becomes available; you will not lose your place on the waitlist.
