Nursing Support Services - Mission Public Health Unit

Nursing Support Services teach caregivers how to provide special health related care for a specific child, and provide direct care when necessary. Services may include equipment, nutrition, medication, nursing respite and/or support of trained teaching assistants in a school setting. Assessment, planning and monitoring of care may involve consultation on community based care and resources and eligibility assessment for the At Home benefits program.
