As an Aboriginal or First Nations resident of British Columbia, you can access all the services and programs that are available to all British Columbians with your BC Care Card or the new BC Services Card. As well, there are programs and services that are specifically for Aboriginal, First Nations, and Inuit people in the province.more info

Fraser Health currently has staff called Aboriginal mental health and patient liaisons, who help with connecting and supporting Aboriginal people, their families, and mental health staff to provide Aboriginal cultural appropriate services.more info

The Assisted Living Program is available to all individuals residing on-reserve, or ordinarily resident on-reserve, who have been formally assessed by a health care professional (in a manner aligned with the relevant province or territory) as requiring social support services.more info

Statistically significant health disparities exist for First Nations people in BC and across Canada. The First Nations Health Authority aims to reform the way health care is delivered to BC First Nations to close these gaps and improve health and wellbeing.more info

The First Nations Health Council (FNHC) is a provincial-level political and advocacy organization that is representative of and accountable to BC First Nations. The FNHC was created following the negotiating and signing of a series of agreements between First Nations, Canada and British Columbia (BC). The Transformative Change Accord, signed in 2005, committed the signatories (First Nations, Canada and BC) to establish a new relationship based on mutual respect and recognition and to close the social and economic gaps between First Nations and other British Columbians in several areas of health.more info

The FNHDA is a professional association that represents and supports health directors and managers working in BC First Nations communities. Collectively, BC First Nations Health Directors have a wealth of information, capacity, and solutions to the population health issues in First Nations communities.more info

Fraser Valley Aboriginal Children and Family Services Society (FVACFSS) provides culturally appropriate and holistic services through prevention, community development and child welfare programs to Aboriginal children, youth and their families residing on and off reserve throughout the Fraser Valley.

Future 4 Nations Head Start is a licensed centre providing services to a maximum of 20 children at one time. We run a morning and afternoon program, Monday to Thursday, and provide a nutritious meal for both classes.more info
